After a week of hard work of research on major attractions and must-go-places to visit in each state that we will be cruising throughout in this journey, here is the road trip schedule starting from the beautiful west coast in California to the tropical coasts of Florida.

Let me begin with a brief introduction of myself: Simplemente Vera (simply Vera) but you can call me whatever you want. Everything has a reason to be in this life, and this road trip wouldn't be the exception! I love to travel, meeting new people and new cultures. I am fascinated by "interculturalism". Traveling makes my soul happy and my mind to grow! After coming back from South Africa I started with my graduate application process! Got accepted at ST Thomas University in Miami, Florida. I currently have my residency in Los Angeles, California. I decided to move out of state to be able to experience another side of the world. So that is how this road trip was born. Going from California to Florida would have been easier by plane but I prefer to get to the east coast by other not so sophisticated means like "By land, driving lola2b"

My partner in crime in this journey will be a member of my spiritual family "el primo" or the cousin Jorge Luis Moncada well known by "Ksita". A love revolutionist, fan of life and people. Ksita called me the Sunday before the road trip, just to ask me how I was doing with my arrival here in Los Angeles and just to say “Hola Loka”. I had given a thought to the idea of asking ksita to come with me in this experience but thought he was not going to be able to ditch school and work (as if he works). He told me that he had 2 weeks vacations and we took it from there! Next thing ksita knew was his plane ticket bought and sent to his email! Called him back with the news and give him 4 days to organize his trip and come aboard!! Ksita has enough travel experience! Starting in Nicaragua and traveling across the country as a backpacker, he has traveled pretty much everywhere in Central America, and did a road trip from the east side of Canada to the east coast of the USA. His laughter is incomparable! He is a crazy nica full of life, a positive soul that is willing to help anybody anywhere anytime! He is not shy to ask for a beer in Japanese (even though he does not know Japanese) and he is always ready to make you laugh! Definitively a great partner in crime!

There's always a first time for everything!

I have been wanting to create a blogspot since 2 years ago, before I moved back to Nica for 5 months in 2008! Back then, I really wanted to document my "longgg holidays" in different ways. Then time and people's interaction kept me a little bit busy and out of the cyberspace!! Came back to Los Angeles (where I used to live since 2006) and then went for a life experience to South Africa for 5 months in 2010! (sorry to say but unfortunately I missed the WC) couldn't do the blog spot over there either!

Went to spend short holidays back home "Managua, Nicaragua", traveled a little bit across the country with family and friends and got the right vibes and the perfect energy for my next life experience!

Miami is waiting to teach some Human Rights to this "Nica Lawyer" who has no experience in the challenging world of LAW!

Before setting up my next residency for a year, I will need to move from one side of the country "The Wild West" to the the other side of America "The beautiful and tropical East" - Los Angeles to Miami-.

I am just one week and a half away to take an extraordinary road trip across the United States of America!!! Getting excited already! and Can't wait to begin this awesome experience!

I will be updating this blog with pictures and little stories about each little town or big city I will be crossing for 8 days! follow up follow up!

Tips and advice are welcome!

c ya later alligator!!!

cheers, peace & love
